Depending on what you are going to do in Barcelona you have the possibility to stay in many districts that all have their own personality and advantages. The city is divided in 10 districts whose main ones are Ciutat Vella, Sants-Montjuïc and el Eixample.

The Ciutat Vella is the historic center of Barcelona, it includes many of medieval buildings such as the Cathedral Sainte-Eulalie or various administrative buildings and Las Ramblas, the famous avenue and nerve center of the city. The Eixample is the extention of the historic center considered as a jewel of modernism, it includes various modernist buildings whose Sagrada Familia, the unfinished work of Gaudí starded on century ago. The Castle of Montjuïc offers a wonderful view point and dominate the city and its port. This district also houses the Olympic Area of 1992 and the World’s Fair area of 1929.
